Because we work by appointment only, a last-minute cancellation wreaks havoc on our schedules. We understand life happens and sometimes you have no choice but to cancel on short notice. We also expect those emergencies to be few and far between. To date, Cloud 9 Mobile Grooming has not charged cancellation fees, but our goodwill is being taken advantage of and late cancellations have gotten out of hand. So…

Effective August 1, 2018 a cancellation the day before or the day of your appointment will incur a $35 cancellation fee for each pet included in that appointment. If you schedule multiple pets and decide that you don't want to groom one or more when your groomer arrives, that is a last-minute cancellation and will incur the fee.

An even worse occurence is when a client doesn't notify us of a cancellation, we show up and nobody is there. In this instance, the full fee will be due before another appointment is scheduled.

We are compassionate people and will take extreme circumstances into account. But we schedule in good faith and we expect the same from our clients. Reminders are now going out 3 days before your appointments, giving you plenty of time to let us know if you do need to cancel or reschedule. Please give us as much notice as possible so we can fill your spot. Thanks.
