Policies

Payment is expected at the time of service. Payment methods are cash, check, or card. If your preferred method is cash, please have the correct amount handy. We do not carry enough cash to make change.

Cancellations: We recognize that Life happens and sometimes appointments need to be cancelled or rescheduled on short notice. We will never charge a cancellation fee but by the same token, late cancellations are very disruptive to our schedules. We will work with you up to a point but serial cancellers will need to find a new groomer.

Tipping: Tips are never expected, but ALWAYS appreciated. Your groomer will thank you!

All pets to be groomed must be current on their rabies vaccination. This is the law in Tennessee and also for our protection. It is a good idea that they be vaccinated against other infectious diseases but not required in order for us to perform grooming services. It is still possible for pets to acquire infectious conditions even when vaccinated however, and we cannot be held responsible if they do.

On rare occasions, we may need to reschedule appointment(s) due to weather, road conditions, equipment failure, etc. Every effort will be made to contact the pet owner in advance and reschedule any affected appointment(s).

Not all addresses within our service areas can be accomodated. Adequate free parking must be available. Adequate is defined as a fairly level, easy-in, easy-out, 3-vehicle length spot where the rig can stay for an extended period of time without disrupting traffic or your neighbors.

We reserve the right to refuse to groom any pet for the health and safety of the groomer and/or the pet. A soft muzzle and/or restraints may be used or services discontinued or refused if we determine that a pet presents an unsafe condition. Such conditions include, but are not limited to: behavior issues, health problems, or parasites.

If a pet is hurt or becomes ill during the grooming session, pet owner grants permission to obtain immediate medical care from a veterinarian of our choice if pet's veterinarian is not known or accessible. Pet owner agrees to pay all costs for medical treatment provided, unless illness or injury is a direct result of our negligence.

As ethical groomers we reserve the right to refuse to demat a pet as this can be painful and unpleasant. If we encounter such a situation, we will notify owner prior to shaving the matted coat. If owner decides not to allow the shaving, the grooming session will be ended immediately and the owner is liable for a trip charge of $45 or the full grooming fee, whichever is less.

We will not be held responsible for clipper burn and/or minor nicks resulting from grooming of matted, neglected coats or for irritation caused by removing coat from pets possessing mild to severe skin allergy, nor will we be held responsible for stressful effects grooming may have upon a geriatric pet.

We will be notified within 24 hours of any claim by the owner regarding compensation for medical attention given as a result of alleged negligence. In the event of a dispute over owner's claim, the attending veterinarian will be consulted prior to settling any claim.

It has been our experience that when a pet is groomed, pre-existing conditions may appear. We will bring any pre-existing conditions uncovered to owner's attention but we will not be held responsible for treatment of said conditions.

We will not be held responsible for damages that result from maneuvering the mobile grooming rig within the confines of pet owner's property.
